In India, the importance of an individual’s mental health care and wellbeing are often overlooked. The stigma associated with mental health treatment prevents those suffering from any mental health issues to speak up. Mental health is overlooked and only physical health is treated.
In order to mend the immense gap between mental health care treatment and the stigma associated with it, RoundGlass (Mohali-Punjab, India) is organizing the National Level Youth Mental Health Festival – ‘Eunoia’ (A beautiful mind). This awareness raising festival is a platform for the youth to exchange ideas, learn and innovate.
As September 10 and October 10 mark the Suicide Prevention Day and the Mental Health Dayrespectively; Eunoia plans to bring together young adults from across college campuses of the nation, to ignite a dialogue on mental health awareness and holistic wellbeing. The objective is to facilitate student engagement at the national level through innovative competitions, such as:
Stories and Poetry
Short films and Photography
Posters and Cartoons
And many more
Who can participate?
Students in the age group of 18-24 across India can send in their entries in the form of Short Films, Memes, Original Music, Photography, etc. on the theme of Mental Health.
Kindly note – Participation is free of cost and prizes up to Rs. 20 Lakhs to be claimed.

10 September — Last date to Submit Entries
15 September — Round 1 Results
23 September — Grand Finale at Mumbai
The process – Registrations are open and free. However, the last date for submitting entries is September 10, 2017.
Mode of submission – Online
Of the entries received, 200 entries will be shortlisted and they would be invited to the Main Conclave, which will take place in Mumbai on September 23, 2017.
